Funding

To fund its operations, JASSI relies on donations from individuals, corporations and other agencies, foundations, and support from JASSI’s corporate “Tomo no Kai” (Friends of JASSI) members. Partial funding for JASSI’s work with the elderly is provided by the NYC Department for the Aging. JASSI also regularly holds fundraising events to help cover expenses.  In recent years these have included year-end gala dinners, concerts featuring outstanding performers, a “summer celebration,” and a “Meet Kazuo Matsui Day” at Mets Stadium.
